The book is that all people, and even children in critical situations, in the struggle for life behave differently - here their noblest and blackest personality traits are manifested

Much has been said about this book that it is not about children, but about the animal nature of all people, which so easily crawls out far from civilization.

Reading to all adolescents may turn out to be a panacea for the cruelty developing in them (I observe it with my 10-year-old students)

Easy to read, interesting plot and deep meaning. There is a confrontation, on the one hand, the desire of Ralph and Piggy to organize themselves for common salvation, and Jack's authoritarian manners, which only generated violence and fear. 5 out of 5. The old movie is also good, by the way.
